SPECIAL #2 (08/16/2003) - REVISTA AO GAMES

The article below has been sent to me by my friend Ricardo Pezzotta de Lella (Ricardo, sorry for this huge delay! ^_^").

This nostalgic text has been published in 1991 on Revista Ao Games, one of the most traditional game magazines from Brazil. Its quite interesting to read comments such as "the CD-ROM revolution", "perfect animated sequences, with characters that actually talk" and "musics  with singed lyrics". Nowadays, in an era of advanced technologies, it might be hard to understand why the PC-ENGINE was considered a revolutionary machine. But Im pretty sure those who lived the Golden Age of games, in the 80s and 90s, remember perfectly the impact caused by the very first images from Valis III or YS Book I & II.
